On December 19, 2024, the Faculty of Creative Technology officially launched the second season of the Video Creation Contest themed “Mother’s Hands.” The event garnered significant attention from Van Lang University students, providing a meaningful platform to nurture artistic talents in media while honoring the profound and humane mission of celebrating maternal love.
Guided by the spirit of “Spreading Values - Shaping the Future,” the contest celebrates the 30th anniversary of Van Lang University’s establishment and International Women’s Day (March 8). Its aim is to convey messages of love, honor mothers, and promote family values. During the launch, participating teams had the chance to hear from the judges, who shared foundational knowledge on content editing and creating quality media products. They also unveiled this season’s attractive prizes. According to the faculty members, the competition will provide students, especially first-year students (K30), an opportunity to explore their potential and connect with peers and seniors who share a passion for media.
Participants also had the opportunity to interact with Quoc Vuong and Uyen Phuong, two K28 Media Technology students who excelled in Season 1, winning first and second prizes. Through their award-winning project “Ganh,” they shared their experiences—from brainstorming ideas to completing the project—offering valuable tips to help this season’s participants optimize their production process.
