Field trips and company visits are among the essential modules in the training program at Van Lang University. These activities provide students with valuable opportunities to observe and familiarize themselves with real working environments, thereby strengthening and practicing the necessary skills to meet the demands of the labor market. In the second semester, students majoring in E-Commerce from the Faculty of Commerce at Van Lang University undertook a series of field trips and company visits to three businesses: TikTok Vietnam, Haravan, and Kem Nghia.

At each destination, students acquired specialized knowledge in real-world circumstances. For example, at TikTok Vietnam, industry experts shared insights into the booming trend of shopping integrated with entertainment in the digital marketing era. At Haravan, students gained a deeper understanding of multi-channel e-commerce solutions, from operating e-commerce platforms, integrating payment systems, providing customer care, and implementing large-scale livestreams. Meanwhile, at Kem Nghia, students were introduced to innovative ways to transform traditional business models to keep up with today’s market demands. They also explored how to apply technological platforms to production, operations, and sales to foster sustainable growth, expand markets, build brand reputation, and develop modern distribution channels.

At Kem Nghia, students explored how the company innovates its traditional business model while applying technology to production, operations, and sales to promote sustainable growth, expand markets, strengthen branding, and develop modern distribution channels.

With the motto “learning goes hand in hand with practice”, the E-Commerce program at Van Lang University creates favorable conditions for students to approach real working environments through company visits and internships. This enables students to bridge their academic studies with practical experience from businesses, progressively shape their professional mindset and outlook, and boost their employability in the digital world.
