The Faculty of Arts & Design of Van Lang University participated in Bangkok Design Week 2025

From February 17-19, 2025, within the framework of Bangkok Design Week 2025, the Faculty of Arts & Design of Van Lang University participated in design exhibition activities in Chinatown - Luenrit Yaowarat area, contributing to the creative art space with impressive designs.


The goal of Bangkok Design Week is to bring art closer to the public. In this event, design schools will introduce works/research products of their students, trainees, and lecturers. This is a professional design playground that provides young designers with the opportunity to share stunning images, artistic spaces, and creative designs with enthusiasts to improve the quality of life.

The exhibited works featured the Community Design Project of a graduate student of Applied Arts. With this project, the post-graduate students conducted a one-week field study at four locations: Khao Yai National Park, Muang Boran Ancient City Relics, Damnoen Saduak Float, Khao Yaing Bangkok and Talat Noi. After completing the survey, they proposed a number of creative models and innovative solutions to bring practical benefits to tourists and local communities.

The new perspective of Van Lang University post-graduate students were highly regarded by Prof. Veerawat - Deputy Head of the Department of Decorative Arts at Silpakorn University and considered for implementation with Thai Design students as an intriguing case study.

Activities of post-graduate students of the Faculty of Arts & Design during Bangkok Design Week 2025.

International friends from universities in China, Indonesia, Malaysia,... also highly appreciated the design learning model through the experience of Van Lang lecturers and students. This unique model encourages students to actively immerse themselves in the design trends of countries in the region, thereby improving the quality of life through design expertise. The presence of representatives from Van Lang University at Bangkok Design Week 2025 clearly demonstrates the school's training motto: learning through practical experience and creating an international, comprehensive training environment.
