The Australian Embassy delegation visited and discussed cooperation with Van Lang University

On April 22, 2025, Van Lang University was pleased to welcome the Australian Embassy delegation to visit and discuss cooperation on study projects for students. This is an annual program designed to provide Van Lang University students with opportunities to access international study programs, broaden their knowledge and skills in a multicultural environment, and simultaneously contribute to expanding the strategic cooperation network between Van Lang University and Australian partners in the upcoming summer.

During the talk, Van Lang University expressed its hope that the student exchange program in the upcoming summer would broaden students' knowledge, with a focus on content related to research projects on health and clean water, aiming to bring practical value to both students and the community. Simultaneously, Van Lang also expressed its expectation to strengthen connections with universities in Australia to enhance the quality of teaching in fields such as sustainable agriculture and the circular economy. Not limited to the university's students, Van Lang intends to extend the impact of these programs to the community, particularly on issues related to children's education, gender equality, and women's rights.

On the Australian Embassy’s side, Ms. Freya Kaine - Education and Research Advisor, Australian Embassy in Vietnam agreed with the proposal to add research elements to teaching and is ready to support networking with more than 300 units in Australia. In parallel, the Embassy is seeking funding for two programs serving education, including: research cooperation and joint training program development with the goal of orienting students’ transformation and creativity.

Hopefully, Van Lang University and the Australian Embassy will continue to have more in-depth exchanges and together build practical and meaningful cooperation programs that bring long-term value to students and the community.
