Program "Talkshow about sexual health and giving gifts to students in difficult circumstances" organized by the faculty of Pharmacy

On December 3rd, 2023, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized the program "Talkshow about sexual health and giving gifts to students in difficult circumstances" at Binh Khanh Secondary School, Phuoc Ly hamlet, Binh Khanh village, Mo Cay Nam district, Ben Tre Province.

With the purpose of increasing the understanding of sexual health among secondary school students, who are at the age beginning of adulthood, MSc. Do Thanh Hao - deputy head of the Department of Pharmacology - Clinical Pharmacology, presented the knowledge about sexual health in a familiar and easy-to-understand way, thereby guiding students on how to care for and protect themselves.

Binh Khanh Secondary School students are extremely interested in this "strange but familiar" knowledge. Not only that, the students were also excited to raise practical questions for the presenter.

In addition, in the program, the Faculty of Pharmacy awarded 100 gifts to students in difficult circumstances with the hope of sharing the difficulties with them. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Huong - deputy dean in charge, represented the Faculty of Pharmacy to receive the School's Certificate of Gratitude, and expressed her hope of being able to further motivate the students on their learning path.

The program "Talkshow about sexual health and giving gifts to students in difficult circumstances" is one of the community activities carried out by the Faculty of Pharmacy toward the United Nations' sustainable development goals (SDGs). Besides, the program hopes to spread the spirit and image of Van Lang everywhere, especially in community activities.
