On June 8, 2025, the Trade Union of Van Lang University organized the summer program “Van Lang Children 2025” for students aged 6–10 years old. The program aims to help young students discover the role of various species in the ecosystem, engage in outdoor activities, and enjoy a refreshing break after the school year.
The program, which was held at My Quynh Zoo in Long An Province, blended learning with recreation in a vibrant natural setting. The zoo is home to hundreds of semi-wild animals, a Japanese-style Bonsai garden, a modern water park, and a variety of interactive play areas.

The day was filled with engaging and hands-on experiences. At the Bonsai garden, the children learned about aquatic species, with a special focus on Koi fish, a cultural symbol of luck and prosperity in Japan. They also explored the habitats of herbivores, such as spotted deer, zebras, and pygmy goats, where they had the chance to feed the animals, take photos, and enjoy close interactions with them.

One highlight of the trip was the unique “Caged Bus – Free Animals” safari ride. From the safety of the vehicle, the children observed the instincts of carnivorous animals, witnessing hunting behaviors and survival skills in a semi-wild environment

After the wildlife exploration, children and parents enjoyed playtime at the water park. With wave pools, water slides, and swimming areas, the park offered a joyful space for family bonding and refreshing summer fun.

In the cheerful atmosphere of International Children’s Day (June 1), the program helped raise children’s awareness of the role of ecosystems and the importance of preserving biodiversity in nature. The Trade Union of Van Lang University remains committed to organizing meaningful collective activities, enriching the spiritual life of its members and their families.
