On July 16, 2023, Van Lang University Sports Center held the 2nd Van Lang Student Yoga Tournament in 2023. This is an activity in the series of summer activities “Summer Movement 2023” to help students improve their physical and mental well-being, and create an opportunity to exchange and connect.

The tournament has the participation of:

Dr. Tran Phuong Tung - Acting Director of Van Lang Sports Center shared at the opening of the tournament: “Coming to the series of Summer Movement activities, I hope you don't consider this tournament as achievements, it’s more important that we experience and connect in sports activities to train and improve our health.”

At the 2nd Van Lang Student Yoga Tournament in 2023, the students participated in the individual and team competitions including: deep fall 1, deep fall 2, front fold 1, front fold 2, 1, 2 elective position 1, elective position 2.


Students excelled in the competition due to their flexibility, rhythmic coordination of breathing, and complex motions in the subject. The prizes were awarded at the conclusion of the competition to:

First Prize: Nguyen Kim Tham - Course 28 Faculty of Commerce;
Second prize: Le Thi Hong - Course 28 Faculty of Accounting;
Third prize: Le Minh Thu - Course 27 Faculty of Accounting & Nguyen Tong Phuong Nhung - Course 28 Faculty of Arts & Design.

First prize: Group of Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Tram - Course 28 Faculty of Arts & Design;
Second prize: Group of Bui Thi Huong Giang - Course 28 Faculty of Public Relations
Third prize: Group of Truong Anh Dao and Nguyen Tuan Anh - Course 28 Faculty of Public Relations;





After the tournament, we hope that you will keep the spirit of sport alive by working hard to practice Yoga to train both physically and mentally.
