Students of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications Shine in the E-Buzz Media 2025 Final Round

On June 4, 2025, the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications of Van Lang University, in collaboration with Laneige Vietnam (Amorepacific Vietnam Co., Ltd.), organized the Final Round of the E-Buzz Media 2025 competition: The Laneige Show – Spotlight on you, with the theme “Shine On”, marking the end of an inspiring journey.

Building on the success of its first season in 2024, E-Buzz 2025 set a new milestone as a creative platform for young people, growing in both quality and scale. The competition recorded 350 video entries with over 6 million views, while Laneige’s media channels alone attracted 2 million views with 10 high-quality pieces of content. After three challenge rounds concluding “The Awakening”, “Power Up”, and “The Culmination”, the top 5 outstanding teams advanced to the Final Round, where they presented their products directly to the Jury to compete for the championship title.

Speaking at the Final Ceremony, Dr. Vo Van Tuan - Vice President of Van Lang University, Head of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications, affirmed: E-Buzz Media is one of the key activities of the Faculty, a place where young talents with a passion for creativity, media, and technology converge. Dr. Vo Van Tuan shared: "The contest is not only a combination of academia and practice but has become a wave, a forum, where students freely express themselves, turning the boldest ideas into reality". Following the more than two-month competition, he praised the efforts of the contestants to achieve breakthrough communication campaigns and inspirational video products, spreading emotions, and contributing to affirming the theme "Spotlight on you" on a large scale, becoming the pride of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications.

The Jury consists of experts in the field of Communication: Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh Vu - Deputy Head of Multimedia Communication Department, Faculty of Public Relations - Communication; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Oanh - Brand Manager Laneige; Mr. Pham Ba Khanh - Creative Director of Kobe Agency.

The Jury provided practical feedback to help the video products enhance their communication effectiveness within the brand’s advertising campaign. These will also be valuable lessons for students to perform better in their future professional work.

As an alumna (Class of 2014) from the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications at Van Lang University, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Oanh - Brand Manager of Laneige - expressed her admiration for the quality of the communication products created by her talented juniors. She emphasized that these works not only helped Laneige reach more potential customers but also supported the brand in telling its story to the community.

Team E08 - Adventures won the top prize at E-Buzz 2025 - Spotlight on you - with a short video promoting the Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Intensive Cream 50ml (For Dry and Sensitive Skin). With the message "Laneige is with you on your happy journey," the team's TikTok video garnered over 3,000 likes, more than 40,000 views, and a great deal of positive feedback.

The Adventures team revealed that their video products were filmed entirely using phones instead of specialized filming equipment, thereby demonstrating their spirit of not being afraid of challenges to create inspirational content for viewers.
