On March 22, 2024, the Faculty of Mechanical - Electrical & Computer Engineering collaborated with Sprite Plus Company Limited to organize a training session, providing instructions on the installation and usage of the GitHub source code storage system for over 200 students majoring in Software Engineering and Data Science.

With an extensive network of collaboration, the faculty of Mechanical - Electrical & Computer Engineering at Van Lang University frequently cooperates with businesses to organize field trips, workshops, and specialized skills training sessions. These initiatives assist students in staying updated with new knowledge, understanding the potential and challenges of the pursued field, and promptly meeting the requirements set by employers upon graduation.

The training session took place over two days (March 22 and March 27, 2024) for students majoring in Software Engineering and Data Science, in the faculty of Mechanical - Electrical & Computer Engineering.

Under the guidance of Mr. Nguyen Van Lam, CTO of Sprite Plus Company Limited, Software Engineering and Data Science students at Van Lang University received detailed instructions on the installation and application of the GitHub source code storage system. GitHub is one of the online source code storage services based on the Git platform, allowing development teams to collaborate on software projects remotely and track the history of source code.
