Students from the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture Shine at K-Speech 2025 Korean Speech Contest

On May 10th 2025, Thu Duc College of Technology, in collaboration with the Korean Speech Association in Vietnam, the Korean Peaceful Unification Advisory Council in Vietnam, and Life Plaza Magazine, hosted the 13th annual K-Speech 2025 Korean Speech Contest. This valuable academic platform offers students a meaningful opportunity to showcase their confidence and push their personal boundaries.

Van Lang University takes pride in the outstanding achievements of students from the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture at the K-Speech 2025 Korean Speech Contest:

Student Vu Thi Huong Nhai (Class 29) won First Prize in the individual speech category for colleges and universities with her confident presentation titled “세대통합 실천하고 통일의 길로 나아가자!” (Let’s promote intergenerational harmony and move toward the unification of the Korean Peninsula). Her speech represented the collective voice of Vietnamese students, emphasizing cultural connection and deep understanding of Korea.

With the theme “전설을 넘어 미래로, 반랑의 정신을 한국어로 외치다” (Beyond the legend, toward the future - shouting the spirit of Van Lang University by Korean!), debate team from the faculty of Korean Language and Culture proudly received the Consolation Prize in the team category, marking their persistent efforts and strong team spirit throughout the competition.

The team’s good coordination, confident attitude, and dedicated support from the lecturers helped them shine on stage, leaving a strong impression on both judges and audience. We hope this will be a source of motivation for future students to keep striving, shining, and reaching further on their journey to mastering Korean.
