During the event, students were divided into six groups to present their research findings after site visits and fieldwork at several companies operating in Vietnam, including Heineken, MetEV, and Faslink. Their presentations focused on observing and analyzing how businesses integrate sustainability into their development strategies and embed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into their operations. In addition, the groups explored related issues from other perspectives, such as consumer culture, environmental protection, and differences in business landscapes between Vietnam and Singapore.

The judging panel, comprising lecturers from SIT and VLU, as well as representatives from Skilio, commended the projects for their concrete analyses and practical applicability. They noted that the students’ achievements reflected keen observations and proactive exploration of new perspectives and methodologies.

The First Prize was awarded to the group with the project “How Vietnamese Companies Keep Corporate Sustainability,” focusing on green transport enterprises. Drawing lessons from the development of MetEV - a Vietnamese company pioneering electric freight vehicles and smart public bicycle rental services in Ho Chi Minh City, the students highlighted these initiatives as valuable insights into “greening” economic activities. They also noted the potential for applying these models in Singapore, particularly in enhancing CSR practices among transport enterprises.

In the “Coconut Leaf Folding Workshop,” SIT and VLU students had the opportunity to engage in the traditional Vietnamese art of folding coconut leaves. Zi Yang and Joshua, Accounting students from SIT, shared: “We faced many challenges due to language and cultural barriers at first. However, thanks to the support of our Vietnamese friends, communication and learning became much easier. VLU students are dynamic, enthusiastic, and incredibly welcoming.”
