Continuing the series of career orientation activities, on the morning of October 13, 2024, the Faculty of Applied Technology organized a seminar on the topic “From Evidence-Based Medicine to Precision Medicine”, aiming to provide an overview of the application theory of precision medicine in the process of practical research.

Hosting the seminar, Dr. Phan Hai Trieu, with 10 years of international research experience at Oxford University and a long time working at the University of Sydney Vietnam Institute, gave students who are majoring in Medical Biotechnology knowledge of precision medicine, especially its application in cancer treatment. According to him, Evidence-Based Medicine is a systematic approach to solving clinical problems by combining the best research evidence with clinical experience to provide the best choices for patients.

Besides conveying knowledge, Mr. Phan Hai Trieu also answered questions from the students, giving them a better understanding of future career paths and the great responsibilities of those jobs..
