On the morning of April 24, 2025, VLTECH organized a seminar on Aviation Engineering, exchanging with OSMOS Technology Group. Van Lang students were honored to meet Mr. Bernard Ho Dac - General Director of OSMOS Technology Group, President of the French Invention and Patent Union (SYNNOV).

Mr. Bernard Ho Dac - General Director of OSMOS Technology Group, President of the French Invention and Patent Federation (SYNNOV) is a descendant of Mr. Ho Dac Cung - the first Vietnamese person to successfully build and pilot an airplane into the sky nearly a century ago.
At the meeting, Mr. Bernard shared the inspiring story of his father’s journey - Engineer Ho Dac Cung, who overcame numerous technical, financial and social challenges to realize his dream of “conquering the sky”. The aircraft made in Vietnam by him successfully took off, marking an important milestone in the aviation industry in Indochina and putting the Vietnamese name on the world aviation map.

As a leading expert in the field of photosensitive construction inspection, Mr. Bernard provided a modern perspective, sharing about advanced technology trends in construction supervision, aviation and sustainable construction. He emphasized that innovation is an indispensable factor in the 21st century and considered it the key for countries, especially developing countries like Vietnam, to achieve remarkable progress in the era of globalization.

The seminar became lively with the Q&A session between Mr. Bernard and the teachers and students of VLTECH. In an era where technology plays an increasingly important role in preserving, monitoring and improving the quality of construction works - from roads and airports to ancient architecture, access to advanced technology solutions is more essential than ever. The workshop with the direct participation of the leaders of OSMOS Technology Group is an opportunity to discuss professional issues in depth and create valuable learning opportunities for students.
