Seminar "Altair® Panopticon™ - Real-time data visualization platform”

On February 26, 2025, the Institute for Computational Science & Artificial Intelligence - Van Lang University organized the first seminar in the series titled "Altair® Panopticon™ - Real-time data visualization platform". The program aims to help participants build financial trading websites using artificial intelligence models developed from Altair Studio AI (RapidMiner). 

At the event, Dr. Clinton Chee - Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence Solutions Expert from Altair Engineering introduced an overview of the Altair® Panopticon™ platform, including its infrastructure, preliminary services, concepts of time series, time series transformation, practical orientation, and solutions to enhance future usability.

A highlight of the platform is Panopticon Streaming Analytics - software that continuously optimizes trading operations, ensuring aspects of monitoring, investigation, and testing. Panopticon allows traders/trading staff to compare real-time order execution data with their predictions. Additionally, Dr. Cliton also shared about the default rights of each role, depending on the membership status on the platform.

Lecturers and researchers from Van Lang University along with the speaker had a lively discussion on the seminar topic. 

The speaker emphasized that Altair® Panopticon™ is trusted and chosen by many leading global financial institutions such as HSBC, Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, etc. Therefore, if officially operated at Van Lang University, this platform promises to bring great potential.
