Result announcement from the competition “Van Lang Poetry” commemorating the 30th anniversary of Van Lang University’s establishment
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of our foundation and development, Van Lang University organized the competition “Van Lang Poetry”, which represents a prominent cultural activity for the purpose of encouraging Van Lang University’s community to diffuse the humanitarian values through the art of poetry. The competition was open to staff, faculty members, students, and alumni to participate. Each individual could convey emotions, and honoured their memory and thoughts about Van Lang University through artistic language.
After its launch, the program earned positive responses with an abundant amount of varied works of poetry about different themes and styles. The poems reflected the participants’ sincere love for their homeland and country, national pride, their path of integrated learning and practical experience within the Institution, and especially the deep bond with Van Lang University’s educational environment. The participants told their true feelings and short yet meaningful stories through melodic poetry, enriching life at Van Lang University.
The judges conducted their evaluation based on content, ideas, and artistic expression before meticulously selecting the prize-winning works. In each category of prizes, the honored literary works demonstrated scrupulous attention to detail, perspicuous emotional depth, and distinctive creative imprints.

Literary works: Tieng rao dem, Dai hoc Van Lang – Noi gui doi o lai, Bai tien biet - Third Prize – Tran Ngoc Kha (Student of Class 30, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication)
Literary works: Hon Yeu nuoc, Yeu - Third Prize – Truong Trieu Vy (Pseudonym: Kinh) (Student of Class 30, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication)
Literary works: Dong Lang, Doi nguoi – Doi muoi
The honored works of poetry elucidated emotional coherence, artistic depth, and expressive diversity. Notwithstanding the contrasting tones delivered, one similar aspect among the literary works was Van Lang University community’s spirit contribution with pride throughout our academic pursuits and professional service.
