On March 26, 2025, the Success Center at Van Lang University held a seminar titled "Remote Jobs: Expanding Career Opportunities, the Key to Winning Over International Employers." Part of the VLU’s Job Fair 2025 series, the event provided valuable insights into the trends of remote work and approaches to the global labor market in the digital age.
Minki Chon, CEO of PickDI, stated, "Artificial intelligence is changing everything. Language is no longer a barrier as AI can assist with translation and communication. While human knowledge and experience are gradually losing their positions, AI cannot replace problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to multicultural work environments. Therefore, understanding the working styles of different countries becomes a decisive factor. The trend of remote work also opens up many opportunities for Vietnamese people to connect with the world. To seize these opportunities, students need to equip themselves with professional knowledge, flexible thinking, and communication skills."
Through this program, VLU students had the opportunity to update themselves on the latest recruitment trends from international corporations, identify essential skill sets to impress foreign employers, learn tips for optimizing CVs and portfolios to international standards, and discover how to find suitable jobs through online platforms.
With a mission to train individuals who create positive impacts on the community and inspire society, Van Lang University continuously builds an innovative ecosystem for learners while striving to connect to businesses. This helps students confidently apply to foreign corporations and enhances their competitiveness in the international market.
