Returning with the theme “Radiance from the Unexpected,” Relight 2026 by Interior Design students at Van Lang University continues its exploration of beauty in the unexpected. By crafting decorative lighting from reclaimed wood - an industrial byproduct - students bring Sustainable Design beyond theory into real-life application.

Throughout the workshop, discarded wood pieces are “reborn” through creative thinking and technical execution. Hands-on guidance from lecturers enables students to develop highly practical products while strengthening material-handling skills and environmental responsibility - shaping a design mindset that is practical, adaptive, and human-centered.
