On December 1st, 2025, the grading of the Fashion Design 1 project officially concluded, completing the evaluation for 142 students of the 29th cohort. This milestone not only marks the end of a training semester but also serves as an important measure, reflecting the fundamental professional competence and effectiveness of the learning process.

The central theme of this project was “Designing a Spring-Summer Streetwear Collection” with open-ended inspiration. Through the project, students comprehensively experienced the standard design process: from research and defining the main idea, developing the design, to pattern making, sample making, and product completion. This is an opportunity for young designers to showcase their aesthetic thinking, collection coordination skills, and basic technical proficiency.

In terms of training structure, Fashion Design 1 serves as the first integrated practical course. Success at this stage establishes a solid methodological foundation, paving the way for students to access more advanced courses in the future.

The project evaluation process is based on a comprehensive set of criteria, including: research and idea development capabilities; creativity and problem-solving skills in design; technical practical skills; ability to present design documents; and professional attitude and ethics. The expert panel emphasizes that each project is a unique creative product, reflecting individual strengths and serving as a basis for students to self-assess and adjust their development path.
