Dr. Vu Thi Thuy, Vice Dean of the Law Faculty at Van Lang University, opened the program by stating, “In line with Van Lang University's educational philosophy of learning through experience, the Faculty and the University always aim to create opportunities for students to engage with and learn from successful individuals with extensive experience in their field. We hope that through activities such as mock trials and internships, students will not only enhance their theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills, broaden their horizons, and gain a deeper understanding of their chosen profession.”

Dr. Lawyer Luu Tien Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Bar Federation, Arbitrator at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC)/Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), Lecturer, and member of the Law Faculty Council at Van Lang University, shared valuable experiences with law students. According to him, to succeed in the legal field, students need to cultivate four key elements: meticulous observation, sharp critical thinking, the ability to quickly identify problems, and the skill of constantly reminding oneself to update knowledge.

Dr. Lawyer Luu Tien Dung emphasized that the most important thing is for students to always uphold professional ethics, as this helps build personal credibility and lays the foundation for a sustainable career in law. Only by seamlessly combining professional knowledge and ethical conduct can students achieve long-term success in the highly competitive legal environment.
