Preliminary survey to serve the national quality assurance for the following prog: Business Administration, Business Administration, Biotechnology, Architecture

On the morning of December 16, 2021, an external evaluation delegation from the Center for Education Accreditation, the Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges, connected online with the leadership of Van Lang University, as well as the leaders of the faculties of Business Administration, Commerce, Architecture, and Biotechnology, conducted a preliminary survey for the external evaluation of four undergraduate programs: Business Administration, Commerce, Architecture, and Biotechnology. The event took place live at Van Lang University Main Campus and online via the Zoom application.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, the president of Van Lang University, was joined by four deans of the university's faculties at the preliminary survey.

The external evaluation delegation conducted a preliminary survey of 4 programs of Van Lang University this time including:

• Associate Professor. Dr. Bui Duy Cam, former president of the University of Natural Sciences, Hanoi National University, Head of the delegation
• Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga - Director of Center for Education Accreditation, supervision
• Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chief of Office of the Center for Education Accreditation, supervision
• MSc. Dinh Tuan Dung - Manager of Education Quality Assessment Department, Center for Education Accreditation, Secretary of the delegation

At the meeting with the leadership of Van Lang University and the faculties, the external evaluation delegation inspected the preparation of infrastructure, documentary evidence for each field, and also listened to the evaluated programs and self-assessment reports of the undergraduate programs; exchanged and agreed on the supporting documents to be supplemented; the number and composition of the interviewees; working principles, etc

The preliminary survey session serving the external evaluation concludes with the signing ceremony of the online Memorandum of Understanding between representatives of the External Evaluation delegation and Assoc. Prof. Dr. r Tran Thi My Dieu, the president of Van Lang University in the presence of leaders and heads of units of the University.

The official survey for the National Education Quality Accreditation of the Business Administration, Commerce, Biotechnology, and Architecture fields will continue in January 2022.

The signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding online

In May 2018, Van Lang University was recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training having met the education accreditation satandards. In 2020, Van Lang University achieved national quality accreditation standards for 03 undergraduate programs in Accounting, English Language and Hotel Management. On June 15, 2021, Van Lang University contin-ued to achieve National Quality Accreditation Certification for 3 undergraduate programs: Tourism Management, Civil Engineering and Banking and Finance.
