Following the MOU in late May 2023, Van Lang University, and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) continue to advance the development of a 2+2 transfer program for students in the Business Administration and Information Technology of the Honors Program.
On June 26, 2023, a delegation from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS, Australia) held a meeting with students from the Honors Program of Van Lang University (VLU) in Business Administration and Information Technology to discuss in-depth the training program for the 2+2 International Program. The event was attended by Prof. Eryk Dutkiewicz, the Associate Dean International in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), MSc Bui Minh Phung, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, MSc Doan Duy Thai Lam, Deputy Director of the Honor Program Development Board at Van Lang University, along with lecturers from VLU and UTS.

At the meeting on June 26, 2023, the leadership of both universities compared current conditions, expressing readiness to welcome students from the Honors Program in Business Administration and Information Technology to join the 2+2 International Program between VLU and UTS. MSc Doan Duy Thai Lam, Deputy Director of the Honors Program Development Board at Van Lang University, expressed the desire for the program's expansion and more participants attraction, enhancing cultural exchange activities and short-term student exchanges between Van Lang University and the University of Technology Sydney, which creating a multicultural and diverse learning environment for Vietnamese - Australian students.

With numerous improvements aimed at enhancing the learning experience and saving costs for students, the 2+2 International Program with UTS allows students to complete the first 2 academic years at Van Lang University. Achieving an IELTS score of 6.5 exempts them from 48 credits in equivalent courses at UTS. After successfully completing the program in Australia, students will be awarded a degree by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
In order to assist students in accessing information and completing all procedures conveniently, Higher Education Global Education Services, a global education consulting unit based in Australia with representative offices in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore - will collaborate with Van Lang University's Honors Program Board to directly advise and support students who want to know more and enroll in the program. They will provide detailed information and assistance with the application process.

Congratulations to VLU students of the Honors Program on having more chances to improve themselves. We wish for a successful cooperation between the two universities. It will provide learner generations with a wealth of knowledge, proficiency in their field, and confidence in integrating into an international environment.
