On September 27, 2025, more than 50 businesses attended the Closing Ceremony of Multimedia Project season 2, organized by the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, Van Lang University. The event marked learning outcomes through practical projects, reaffirming the connective training model of University – Businesses – Students.
Implemented from February to September 2025, Multimedia Project season 2 has become a practical learning environment for more than 3,000 students from Public Relations and Multimedia Communications programs, with the participation of over 100 companies. Instead of learning only theoretical knowledge in class, students were assigned real-world briefs, developed communication solutions, and delivered media products as professional communication specialists.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Vo Van Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice-President, and Dean of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, emphasized: “Multimedia Project not only concludes a creative learning journey but also opens up sustainable collaboration opportunities between the University and businesses. It represents the intersection between academic knowledge and market dynamics, where students both learn and directly create new value for businesses.”

The participating companies recognized the professionalism, creativity, and progressive mindset of the students. A representative from T&A Ogilvy shared: “In season 2, we set more challenging briefs, yet Van Lang University students delivered impressive outcomes, demonstrating their adaptability and professional competence.”

For students, this project is an opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves in a real-world environment. Tang Ma My Duyen (Class 28, Multimedia Communications) shared: “The Multimedia Project is not just an academic module but a powerful springboard that propels us into the professional world. I’ve learned to turn pressure into motivation and grown to become a confident young content creator and strategic planner.”
After seven months of exposure to the actual working environment, Van Lang University students tackled 197 real business challenges. Their achievements were reflected in more than 8,000 minutes of video content, 250 events, and hundreds of communication products, generating a total reach of over 350 million, along with 6 million views and 3 million comments. The total project budget exceeded 670 million VND, with more than 300 million VND donated to community initiatives. Notably, 98% of the projects achieved their KPIs, affirming Van Lang University students’ application of knowledge, creative thinking, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

Best Project in the Multimedia Communications program: DA_10 – New Friends Communication & Entertainment Co., Ltd. The project was developed with the goal of honoring national cultural spirit and affirming Vietnamese identity in the era of globalization. By recreating, introducing, and promoting the values of traditional craft villages, the team skillfully integrated modern communication tools to tell the story of preserving and developing cultural heritage. Beyond its artistic perspective, the project also highlighted the importance of community engagement and social responsibility, inspiring national pride among the younger generation. With the mission “When Vietnamese values shine”, DA_10 demonstrated the power of multimedia communications in bridging the past and present, while shaping a sustainable future for Vietnamese cultural values.

Best Project in the Public Relations program: DA_54 – LyB Fashion Joint Stock Company. The project was implemented with the aim of affirming the confidence and individuality of the young generation through three core values: confidence, luck, and uniqueness. Based on the company’s request to build a youthful, trendy, and contemporary fashion image, the student team strongly leveraged creativity in their communication messaging. This was not merely a product promotion campaign but a harmonious blend of strategic thinking and aesthetic sensibility, reflecting the pioneering spirit of young people in the fashion industry. The project demonstrated strong trend awareness and a keen understanding of consumer preferences, while creating a distinctive mark in today’s competitive market.

According to Mr. Le Tran Bao Phuong, Deputy Head of the Department of Multimedia Communication Strategy, the project will return with the theme “Implementing effective and practical communication projects” in 2026, expanding its scale to over 3,000 students and focusing on the ESG – CSR orientation. The E-Buzz Media and Click PR competitions will continue to serve as platforms for students to showcase their competencies while strengthening collaboration with businesses.

The Closing Ceremony of the Multimedia Project season 2 concluded with many remarkable highlights: the growth of students, the companionship of companies, and the dedication of faculty team. The project’s achievements reaffirmed Van Lang University’s educational philosophy — integrating learning with practical experience, and fostering high-quality, creative, and socially responsible human resources.
