On April 18, 2025, the Faculty of Arts & Design at Van Lang University held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with TEKCOM Joint Stock Company, marking a significant milestone in the journey of technological transfer, experience exchange, and knowledge enhancement in the fields of Construction and Interior Design.
TEKCOM was founded in 2005 and has been a pioneering enterprise in providing plywood solutions and related products to both domestic and international partners and clients. In the context of global economic integration, TEKCOM emerges as a strategic partner of Van Lang University, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources and meeting the diverse demands of the market. Accordingly, the contents of the MOU focus on the following areas:
With shared goals in development and innovation, the two entities agreed on several collaborative initiatives, particularly linking academic training with real-world practice, promoting academic exchange, and enhancing brand identity. As part of this cooperation, TEKCOM will support the Faculty of Arts & Design in setting up a plywood material display cabinet within the department’s workshop and assigning experts to deliver talks to students on the characteristics and applications of plywood. Furthermore, students will have opportunities to visit TEKCOM’s production lines. Notably, TEKCOM has commissioned the Interior Design department to develop applied products utilizing plywood, tailored to specific needs. With enthusiastic support from TEKCOM professionals, students of the Faculty of Arts & Design are expected to gain valuable internship experiences and participate in various projects and events hosted by the company.
Driven by its mission to promote and improve training quality, the signing of this MOU represents a pivotal moment in the cooperative journey between Van Lang University and TEKCOM Joint Stock Company.
