In collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor, on the morning of June 25, 2024, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and union members of Van Lang University arrived early to participate in the 2024 voluntary blood donation program at the City Labor Culture Palace (District 1).
Annually, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation organizes voluntary activities aimed at fostering unity among union members, spreading positive values, and benefiting society. In June 2024, the City Federation, in cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital, organized the 2024 voluntary blood donation program under the theme "Blood of Love". The program attracted a large number of participants from various union bases.

Remarkably, the program attracted nearly 200 blood donors on June 4, 2024, resulting in the collection of approximately 240 units of blood, including over 160 350ml blood bags. The City Federation aims to encourage at least 2,000 individuals to participate in blood donation through 10 organized events scheduled to last until the end of July 2024. This meaningful activity holds immense significance, as it contributes to intensifying promotional efforts and mobilizing party members, cadres, union members, and laborers within the city to actively engage in voluntary blood donation. These endeavors aim to provide support to those in need and embody the spirit of compassion.

With a large contingent of lecturers, and staff, the Trade Union of Van Lang University actively participates in community activities with unwavering enthusiasm. For many consecutive years, the University of Languages and Technology Trade Union and its outstanding individuals have been honored with awards from the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor in recognition of their remarkable achievements and unwavering contributions to society.
