To provide students with a genuine understanding of enterprise production activities and effective product promotion strategies, the Faculty of Commerce orchestrated an enriching opportunity for the 27th batch of Marketing students. From April 15th to April 18th, 2024, they were immersed in an immersive study visit at Yakult Company, located within the dynamic Vietnam-Singapore industrial park in Binh Duong. This hands-on experience at a representative enterprise is an annual tradition organized by the Faculty exclusively for third-year students.
Within the framework of the operation, the student delegation delved into the origins of Yakult, a pioneering fermented milk beverage brand boasting over 90 years of expertise. Within this immersive experience, Course 27 students majoring in Marketing witnessed the intricacies of the factory's production line firsthand, engaging in insightful discussions with Yakult's seasoned experts. Students explore the fermentation and mixing processes, the milk-filling room, the bottle-making area, and product packaging, and view Lactobacillus casei Shirota bacteria through a microscope, etc. Moreover, they have a unique opportunity to observe Lactobacillus casei Shirota bacteria through a microscope.
Additionally, students are also heard and shared about the marketing activities that Yakult is implementing nationwide and the actual case studies that Yakult has implemented over the years.
Closing the practical experience tour at Yakult Company, VLU's Marketing students have acquired helpful knowledge through the process of observing and learning with experts; at the same time, grasping the marketing method of a global brand, thereby summarizing for yourself the knowledge, experience, applied to the learning and working process in the future.
