FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) is an international quality assurance agency under the Government of Switzerland, with representative offices in Bonn (Germany) and Zurich (Switzerland). FIBAA’s mission is to accredit, evaluate, and develop institutions and academic programs worldwide, contributing to the advancement of quality and transparency in higher education. On June 16, 2021, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam officially recognized FIBAA to operate accreditation activities in the country.

Today, FIBAA accreditation is one of the most prestigious and widely recognized international quality certifications. In 2024, Van Lang University proudly became the first private university in Vietnam to achieve FIBAA program accreditation. Successfully meeting FIBAA’s rigorous requirements is a strong testament to the university’s commitment to academic excellence, encompassing curricula, faculty, modern facilities, and comprehensive student support services.

After two years of intensive preparation, September 2025 marks another significant milestone as the university undergoes FIBAA accreditation for three programs: Marketing, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and Real Estate.

On the morning of September 10, 2025, Ms. Rebekka Welker, FIBAA Project Manager and representative of the external evaluation delegation, delivered the opening remarks for the official external evaluation of the three programs: “Accreditation is not only about meeting standards; it is also a process of dialogue, critical reflection, and mutual learning. Each program will be examined in detail, from design and implementation to real-world impact. We believe the upcoming working sessions will bring valuable insights, constructive feedback, and inspiring discussions.”

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, emphasized that the university’s mission, vision, and educational philosophy are closely aligned with the learning outcomes of each program. Van Lang University maintains a continuous improvement cycle, with contributions from lecturers, students, alumni, and employers, while also benchmarking against international programs. This foundation ensures that the three programs under review are constantly refined, meeting practical demands and advancing toward global integration.
