On November 26-27, 2024, Van Lang University, in collaboration with Perpetual Help System DALTA University (UPHSD), organized the "Management and Tourism Summit." The event brought together faculty and students from both countries, creating a forum for in-depth discussions on management, tourism, technology, and marking a significant step in international educational cooperation between the two universities.
In her opening speech, Dr. Lourdes A. Mendoza, Head of the UPHSD Organizing Committee, emphasized the importance of enhancing international cooperation in education, considering it a crucial bridge that helps teachers and students from both universities expand their knowledge, explore diverse perspectives, and build long-lasting relationships.
The summit consisted of two main sessions: a plenary session with two prominent presentations and a specialized session with 13 reports, focusing on topics such as sustainable development, AI applications in customer service, and cost control in high-risk industries. Practical studies, such as the tourism guidance program at Bilibid Agricultural School and the financial prediction model for borrowers, opened up extensive cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and the Philippines.
Faculty from both universities discussed and explored various perspectives and topics in their reports.
Not only an academic forum, but it was also a knowledge playground for students from both universities. Breakthrough studies like "AI-Generated Network Dynamics" by Van Lang students left a strong impression. Meanwhile, representatives from Perpetual Help System DALTA University (UPHSD) also provided deep insights into the trend of short videos on TikTok - a platform that is changing the way the younger generation accesses information and creates digital content.
UPHSD students had beautiful memories with Van Lang students through cultural and academic exchange activities.
The summit concluded in a lively and inspiring atmosphere, contributing to the enhancement of education quality, research, and opening up long-term opportunities for the two universities to build sustainable values for future generations together.
