Nurturing knowledge and fostering a spirit of community - MSc. Phan Thi Huyen Trang

From the corporate world to the university classroom, every stage of MSc. Phan Thi Huyen Trang’s professional journey has contributed to shaping her teaching style and educational philosophy. To her, education is not merely about imparting knowledge; it is also a journey of guidance, unlocking potential, and inspiring learners to confidently develop themselves.

Before becoming a lecturer, she spent many years working in the corporate sector, engaging in entrepreneurship and investment in the fields of manufacturing and real estate. These practical experiences have given her a deeper understanding of labor market demands as well as the value of knowledge when applied to real-life situations.

Since 2020, she has returned to academia and has been serving at Van Lang University. At the Faculty of Finance and Banking, she has actively contributed to the development of the Real Estate program, participating in curriculum enhancement, quality assurance and accreditation activities, and the innovation of teaching methods through the integration of digital technologies.

What makes her appreciated by students is not only her professional expertise but also her ability to bring real-world business experiences into the classroom. In every lesson, she encourages students to think independently, take initiative in solving problems, and continuously adapt to the changing demands of the professional environment.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, she currently serves as the Head of the Union Group of the Faculty of Finance and Banking. With a strong sense of responsibility and enthusiasm, she contributes to fostering a united and supportive working environment while actively participating in charitable and community service activities.

Reflecting on her educational philosophy, she strongly embraces the belief that education should foster individuals who are independent thinkers, self-directed in their actions, and capable of creating meaningful value for society. This conviction has continually motivated her to unlock students’ potential, strengthen their character, and inspire them to pursue their own paths of personal and professional development.
