The Faculty of Tourism, Van Lang University, would like to extend its sincere congratulations to Do Tuyet Bang Tam, M.Sc. and Bui Bich Phuong, M.Sc. on being officially selected for the Erasmus+ scholarship program, with an academic exchange journey at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia, France.

Erasmus+ is an international education cooperation program of the European Union and is regarded as one of the most competitive scholarship programs in the world. The program offers opportunities for lecturers, researchers, and students to participate in academic exchange, teaching, and international cooperation activities in various European countries.

After several rounds of selection involving candidates from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and several other countries, the fact that two lecturers from the Faculty of Tourism, Van Lang University, were both selected is a proud achievement. This not only recognizes the professional competence of the lecturers but also affirms the position and quality of the Faculty of Tourism’s teaching staff on the international academic map.

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, Do Tuyet Bang Tam, M.Sc. (lecturer in Hotel Management) and Bui Bich Phuong, M.Sc. (lecturer in Restaurant and Food Service Management) will directly teach French students specialized topics on Sustainable Cuisine and Hotels in the New Era. In addition to teaching activities, the two lecturers will also participate in working sessions and academic exchanges aimed at strengthening the collaborative relationship between Van Lang University and the University of Perpignan Via Domitia.

These activities are expected to open up more opportunities for training partnerships, scientific research, and lecturer and student exchanges in the future, contributing to the university’s educational internationalization process. This achievement is a well-deserved result of the two lecturers’ proactiveness, perseverance, and seriousness in pursuing and conquering international career development opportunities. At the same time, this is also a positive source of inspiration for the lecturers and students of the Faculty of Tourism, encouraging a spirit of learning, research, and integration in a global education environment.

The Faculty of Tourism, Van Lang University, once again extends its warmest congratulations to Ms. Do Tuyet Bang Tam and Ms. Bui Bich Phuong. We wish both lecturers a meaningful Erasmus+ journey in France, filled with valuable experiences, continued knowledge sharing, expanded international connections, and many achievements in their academic careers.
