Within Vietnam Film Week – the 24th Vietnam Film Festival, VLU’s Faculty of Art & Design was commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Department of Cinema) to co-organise the “Narrative Economy” programme.

At the event, the team behind “De Men: Cuoc phieu luu toi Xom Lay Loi” shared that defining a Vietnam-specific IP (Intellectual Property) is a real challenge in the fast-rising era of AI.

Speaking with VLU students, Do Quoc Viet (Deputy Director, Department of Cinema), Director Nguyen Thi My Dung, Vu Duy Nam (Executive Producer, De Men), and Ha Anh Son (Chairman, Cine Plus) agreed that filmmakers’ “way forward” is to build rich creative databases and ideas with a distinctly Vietnamese voice, encouraging Art & Design students to sharpen creativity and leverage digital data to open new paths in film and media.

Today's program is also a typical activity in a series of events aiming to celebrate:
- 30 years of establishing Van Lang University**
- 20 years of forming and developing the Faculty of Fine Arts & Design**
This is a journey that marks many important achievements, affirming and orienting the service of education, accompanying the development and integration of the School in the past time.
