On May 24, 2025, students from the Faculty of Law, Van Lang University, made a strong impression at two national academic competitions: “Creative Students and Intellectual Property Rights 2025” and “HUTECH Legal English Competition 2025”, winning a Encouragement Prize and Second Prize respectively. These achievements affirm the students’ professional competence, global readiness, and active academic spirit.

PROTECTION AND ENFORCEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

At the final round of the 5th “Creative Students and Intellectual Property Rights” competition, held at the University of Law - Hue University, the VLU GENOVATE team from the Faculty of Law, Van Lang University, earned the Encouragement Prize among nine teams representing universities nationwide.

Through three rounds - General Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights, Practical Connection, and Creative Student - the Van Lang University team demonstrated sharp thinking, solid knowledge, and the ability to apply theory to practical scenarios, in alignment with this year’s theme: “Protection and Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights.”

HUTECH LEGAL ENGLISH COMPETITION 2025

🌷The LAW AND WILL team from the Faculty of Law, Van Lang University, was honored to win Second Prize at the “HUTECH Legal English Competition 2025 (HUTECH LEC)”, organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), with the participation of 22 teams from law faculties across the country.

🌟After being selected among the top 6 teams in the preliminary round, LAW AND WILL advanced to the semi-finals, where their performance featuring an introduction to the Faculty of Law impressed the judging panel. In the final round, the team continued to excel through challenges such as word-linking and crossword solving in specialized legal English on international trade law and intellectual property.
