On the afternoon of January 15, 2026, the Vietnam National Union of Students at Van Lang University held the Launch Ceremony for the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign, with the participation of university leadership, representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union – Vietnam National Union of Students, and over 1,800 volunteers.
The Spring Volunteer Campaign is an annual activity with profound humanistic significance, creating opportunities for Van Lang University students to promote their spirit of pioneering and responsibility to the community through practical activities, in line with the University's orientation of “Where impact matters.”
In 2026, the campaign recorded the participation of 1,835 students, placing Van Lang University among the universities with the largest force of student volunteers in the country. The campaign also takes place in the context of celebrating significant milestones for the Party and youth organizations, such as the 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Foundation and the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU).

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu – President of Van Lang University – expressed her expectations for the volunteers, emphasizing that every contribution, no matter how small, has the value of spreading positive impact and serves as a beautiful mark left by Van Lang University students wherever they go.

Throughout the campaign, students will participate in five activity clusters: Spring of History, Spring of Pride, Spring of Love, Spring of Soldiers, and Spring Health. Additionally, this year's Launch Ceremony featured campaign ambassadors who are excellent students, contributing to spreading the pioneering spirit and enthusiasm of the Van Lang University youth.

The traditional "Khan Ran" and flag presentation ceremonies concluded the event, marking the moment when the teams officially set off to carry out their missions. Immediately following the Launch Ceremony, the volunteers began the "Spring of History" activity at the Museum of the Armed Forces of Southeastern Vietnam to review the glorious traditions of the nation and cultivate pride in each student.
With the strength and scale of this year's organization, the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign promises to bring many positive values to the community, while also serving as a memorable journey for Van Lang University students on the path of social service.
