On March 24, 2025, the Faculty of Korean Language & Culture at Van Lang University coordinated with Lotte Global Logistics Vietnam to organize a field trip for students of Cohort 28. This annual activity is designed to give students early exposure to real-world work environments, enhance their understanding of professional settings, and help them shape a suitable career path for the future.

At the field trip, 40 students from Cohort 28 of the Faculty of Korean Language & Culture had the opportunity to explore the scale of operations, storage technology, and strict requirements in the logistics industry. They also had the chance to directly visit the warehouse where goods are stored at a temperature of -18°C.

Van Lang University students had the opportunity to interact directly with the company's interpreters and learn from their experiences in Korean translation at the multinational corporation. The Q&A session at the end of the program provided valuable insights into the labor market, career opportunities, and the essential skills needed to enhance competitiveness in the job market.

At Lotte Global Logistics Vietnam, Van Lang University students learned about storage technology and the process of international goods transportation.

Nguyen Thi Thuy Vy, a K28 student in Korean Language, shared: "Through this internship, I gained a lot of valuable knowledge about logistics and supply chain management. Observing the working environment at Lotte Global Logistics, I noticed how much they focus on improving processes and applying advanced technology to enhance work efficiency. What impressed me the most was the visit to the warehouse system and the goods handling process. The automation in controlling goods helps minimize errors and shorten processing time."

The trip provided students from the Faculty Korean Language & Culture with a real-world perspective on their future careers, while also nurturing their motivation to refine their expertise and develop well-rounded skills.
