Korean Language and Culture Students Participate in Mock Interviews with Employers

On December 9, 2024, the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture organized a career counseling seminar titled "CV Writing and Interview Skills to Impress Employers" for students of Class 27 and Class 28. The seminar provided valuable insights to equip students with essential skills for entering the job market.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Vinh and Mr. Huynh Quoc Tuan from Hyosung Vina Company shared their expertise to help students build confidence for interviews.

The event featured representatives from Hyosung Vina Co., Ltd.: Ms. Le Thi Thanh Vinh, Recruitment Manager, and Mr. Huynh Quoc Tuan, Recruitment Specialist. Throughout the program, they imparted key tips on crafting impressive CVs and mastering interview techniques to leave a lasting impression on employers.

Ms. Thanh Vinh emphasized the importance of a well-prepared CV with clear formatting, free from basic errors such as typos and grammatical mistakes, and highlighted the need to showcase personal strengths and skills effectively. A polished CV not only helps candidates stand out but also serves as the first step toward securing an interview invitation.

In a special segment of the seminar, Ms. Thanh Vinh took on the role of a recruiter and conducted mock interviews with Class 27 students. Following each interview, she provided detailed feedback on areas to avoid and strategies for delivering persuasive responses to create a positive impression with employers.

Through this career counseling seminar, students, particularly those in Class 27, gained practical knowledge to better prepare for internships and their future career journeys.
