Kick-off event for the 2025 'Future Investor - Season 3’ Competition organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking

On October 13, 2024, the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Van Lang University officially launched the "Future Investor - Season 3" competition with a Kick-off and a panel discussion titled “Unlock Future - Gen Z Takes on the Market.” The program provided students with comprehensive information about the competition, from participation methods to this year's key competition orientations.

Following the success and influence of the previous two seasons, the 2025 competition returns with a national scale expansion under the theme “Empowering Financial Dreams,” promising to provide a professional platform for students to showcase their abilities in analyzing, evaluating, and managing risks in stock investments. With the support of businesses, this year’s competition is exclusively sponsored by KAFI Securities Joint Stock Company, providing teams the opportunity to engage with real-world scenarios and business support to apply their academic knowledge practically.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Hoang, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Banking stated: “Through this competition, we expect students to be equipped not only with knowledge but also to grow into genuine investors, embodying a broad vision and responsibility towards the development of the national financial sector. These valuable experiences will serve as a solid stepping stone, aiding their growth and future success.”

As the exclusive sponsor of the competition, Mr. Trinh Thanh Can, CEO of KAFI Securities Joint Stock Company, remarked, “This marks the beginning of a new journey, where Van Lang University and KAFI Securities will work together to contribute to developing high-quality human resources for Vietnam's economy, enhancing opportunities for students to improve their investment skills, meet experts, and build a foundation for their future careers.”
