Information Technology students embrace new technology trends in the 4.0 era

On November 25, 2023, in collaboration with the Binance Vietnam and Saigon Innovation Hub, the Faculty of Information Technology of Van Lang University organized the "Foundational knowledge on Blockchain, Web3, Metaverse - Career opportunities and challenges for the young" talk show, connecting students with experts from Binance Academy who shared insights into emerging trends in the field of technology.

The emergence of new technology platforms has impacted many other vocations and fields. The talk show on November 25 contributed to information-sharing activities about new technology and career prospects for Information Technology students in the 4.0 era.

As a unit specializing in developing training programs on Blockchain and exploring the potential of Web3, representatives from Binance Academy familiarized the Faculty of Information Technology's students with Blockchain, Web3, and Metaverse, while also exploring the core ideas that constitute these technologies.

Ms. Lynn Hoang - Director of Binance Vietnam, evaluated Web3 as a new trend that has become both an opportunity and a challenge for technology learners. Having instructed about Blockchain at no cost for more than 500 women in Ho Chi Minh City, speaker Lynn Hoang expressed her desire for women to participate in the technology field, contributing to the creation of more female-friendly products.
