Industrial Design Students Visit and Gain Experience at NEM Furniture Joint Stock Company.

On December 19, 2025, students from the Industrial Design department of Van Lang University visited and gained experience at NEM Furniture Joint Stock Company.

They received a warm and thoughtful welcome from the company's leadership and staff. At the company, the students were given a presentation by the company's Director, Mr. Luong Bao Tuan, on the company's operations, scale, projects, and actual products. He also shared experiences in design, material handling knowledge, and evaluating the quality of furniture products through technical details.

During the factory tour, students were able to directly observe the closed-loop process, including the raw material processing area, modern machinery lines, and product assembly and finishing areas. Mr. Ngo Van Cuong, the factory manager, guided and answered students' questions about the feasibility of a product from design to technical specifications, the harmonious combination of raw materials, and market demands.

Through this tour, students gained a better understanding of the professional field, developed a clear career orientation, and could plan to apply for an internship at the company after the visit.
