On the afternoon of May 20, 2025, the talk show “Budget Planning - The Backbone of Project Management,” part of the Honors Talk series for students in the Honors Program (a special education training program), was held in an engaging atmosphere, with speaker MSc. Nguyen Anh Toan.

According to MSc. Nguyen Anh Toan, a budget plays the role of a “survival plan” in any project. A well-prepared budget helps project teams manage cash flow, control risks, assess feasibility, and maintain stability during implementation.

Students were guided step-by-step in how to build a logical, practical, and adaptable budget for various types of projects. Key topics such as cost classification, contingency planning, and budget consolidation were clearly presented with real-life examples.

Through this session, students not only gained professional knowledge but also developed a proactive mindset, recognizing the budget as a central pillar in every planning process. When financial planning is prioritized properly, each project has the potential to be effectively managed and generate long-term value.
