On the afternoon of November 30, 2025, the 17th Hoa Sac traditional festival of the Faculty of Arts & Design officially returned after two years of absence, under the theme “Thoi khac – Diem sac thang hoa" (Moments – Flourishing Colors).
The event took place as Van Lang University celebrated the 30th anniversary, and the Faculty marked 20 years of development, gathering leaders, lecturers, students, alumni, and industry partners to look back on the journey that shaped the identity of the “Nha Do” (Red House).

Mr. Phan Quan Dung, Artist, Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Design, emphasized the significance of the 20-year milestone: from the early days — “starting from zero” — with just a few lecturers and a small number of students, to now having more than 8,000 students and nearly 200 lecturers. The Faculty has been ranked 51–100 globally in Performing Arts and 101–150 in Design by QS World University Rankings 2025. He expressed gratitude to generations of lecturers who laid the foundation, affirming that today’s achievements come from the perseverance, dedication, and sense of responsibility of the Arts and Design community.

After 17 years, Hoa Sac continues to be a stage for students to showcase their talent, uphold tradition, and spread the creative identity of the Faculty of Arts & Design.
