First-year students working on a project to protect the LGBT community won first prize in "Happy World Invocations" competition.

Along with 4 other projects, the project “Is fairness = 0?” aiming to protect the LGBT community and avoiding gender inequality of freshmen of Van Lang University won first prize in the "Happy World Invocations" contest.

In the afternoon of the April 23rd , Van Lang University held a closing ceremony and awarding ceremony for the learning program under the project "Happy World Invocations". This is a competition for first-year students who are studying soft skills to apply the knowledge they have learned to solve problems of the social community.

A community project aimed at sustainable development according to the 17 United Nations goals of the competition

The learning program under the project "Happy World Invocations" was launched in December 2021 which aims at sustainable development according to the 17 goals of the United Nations. Among 650 projects from 80 competing teams, the organizers selected the 20 best projects to enter the final round.

In the final round, 20 projects were divided into 5 groups. From each group, the judge will select the best project to award the first prize along with the most popular project voted by the audiences.

After the competition, the 5 best project awards include: Project "Is fairness = 0?"; Project “Save our souls”; Project "Love to share - Book to share"; Project “Podcast - Fanpage Aimée”; Project "Spread the love". The most popular project award was given to the project "Do for women".
