The company visit program provided practical learning opportunities for students majoring in Financial Technology (FinTech) at the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Van Lang University.
Visiting and experiencing the real working environment at businesses is a regular activity for students majoring in Finance and Banking at Van Lang University. This activity aims to help students update their practical knowledge and gain a close insight into future career prospects.
On the afternoon of December 19, 2023, nearly 30 FinTech students from the Faculty of Finance and Banking had the opportunity to visit at Nami Foundation Company. Accompanying them on this visit was Master Lê Vũ Linh Toàn, a lecturer from the FinTech department at the Faculty of Finance and Banking.
At Nami Foundation, the students had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Giáp Văn Đại - the CEO of the company, as he shared the story of Nami Foundation's formation and development since its establishment in 2017 with the AI product Nami Assistant. Nami Foundation's mission is to build and promote blockchain-based financial services with principles of transparency, fairness, and equality to support users in achieving financial independence within the ecosystem. The establishment of Nami Foundation is evidence of the company's determination and efforts in creating a healthy investment environment to lead the trend of decentralization in the financial sector. The students had the chance to listen and interact with Mr. Giáp Văn Đại, asking questions related to their career paths.
Afterwards, Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Nam, the Operations Director of Nami Foundation, shared about the company's operational processes and provided valuable advice for students in their studies and preparation for careers in the FinTech industry.
The students also had the opportunity to visit different departments within the company to gain a better understanding of the organization and the work at Nami Foundation. They also experienced the unique artwork called Creative Wall, which combines technology and art. Through this, the students were able to grasp some aspects of the company's corporate culture, observe the professional workspace layout and environment. They gained a clearer perspective on their future career opportunities in the FinTech field and understood the criteria for personnel selection within the company, allowing them to self-assess their own abilities and proactively improve their skills.
In the final part of the visit, the students participated in a Minigame and received cute gifts from Nami Foundation Company. The students felt excited and happy about this experience
At the end of the visit to Nami Foundation Company, to strengthen the relationship between the Faculty and the company, Ms. Lê Vũ Linh Toàn, the Master of Finance and Banking Department, sent gifts and expressed gratitude to the company for providing favorable conditions and helping the students gain valuable and interesting practical lessons.
The company tour at Nami Foundation Company have not only helped the FinTech students enhance their knowledge and skills but also provided them with a deeper understanding of the importance of seriousness and professionalism in their studies and work. This will enable them to meet the requirements of the job market in the FinTech field.
After the visit, the students shared positive impressions about their experience. One student said, "The company visit was meaningful and interesting. I learned a lot of new knowledge, and the staff at Nami Foundation were very enthusiastic. I hope to continue participating in more visits and practice to learn and improve my knowledge."
