Faculty of Pharmacy Holds Seminar Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day

On February 25, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Van Lang University hosted a special seminar to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2025). The event aimed to honor the dedication and contributions of doctors, pharmacists, and faculty members in the field of healthcare.

Faculty lecturers shared heartfelt messages with students about the noble mission of pharmaceutical professionals.

The program featured a session on the history and traditions of Vietnam’s pharmaceutical industry, led by Ms. Tran Truong Giang. He emphasized the responsibility of younger generations in preserving and carrying the torch of their predecessors' dedicated and passionate spirits. Therefore, students were encouraged to develop a deep understanding of their professional mission, uphold ethical standards, and commit to lifelong learning. Furthermore, they were advised to adopt a proactive and innovative approach to stay aligned with global healthcare advancements.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Huong, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, shared her sentiments: "The 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day marks a significant milestone and I feel honored and proud to be part of our nation's healthcare workforce. I sincerely hope that our annual February 27 commemorative programs will continue to inspire passion and commitment among our students."
