On May 28, 2024, the Faculty of Nursing at Van Lang University jointly conducted a “BLS for Instructors: CPR Master Class” training workshop for nursing lecturers and students.

Since signing the MOA in March 2023, the Faculty of Nursing has collaborated with ZOLL Medical Corporation and NQ Medical Corp to organize various meaningful training programs for staff, lecturers, and students.

The "BLS for Instructors: CPR Master Class" workshop provided an opportunity for nursing students to broaden their knowledge and hone vital skills.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving procedure that combines chest compressions and artificial ventilation. This essential rescue skill helps restore cardiac and respiratory function when someone's heartbeat or breathing stops until emergency medical personnel arrive.

Mastering the correct CPR technique is crucial for nursing students and the community, raising public health awareness, fostering a safer society, and equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies.

Under the guidance of Wiwis Jirasiri Watana, Senior Manager of the Medical Transport Center at Samitivej Public Co., Ltd., nursing students enhanced their CPR knowledge from a scientific perspective, supported by scientific research and the latest CPR guidelines used worldwide.

The "BLS for Instructors: CPR Master Class" workshop is part of the "Heart Safe University" project, aimed at enhancing students' knowledge of CPR, providing medical equipment, and creating a high-quality learning environment to ensure a healthy heart for students and the community.
