On the morning of May 29, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing, Van Lang University, visited and organized an exchange program, giving gifts to pediatric cancer patients staying at Thien Tam Free Hostel (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1.

The activity was organized with the desire to bring children a meaningful, joyful and laughter-filled holiday. With lovely and meaningful gifts from spirit to material such as stuffed animals, fried chicken, and financial support given, the teachers and students of the Faculty of Nursing hope to share some of the difficulties on the journey of treatment of the children and their families.

The visit was not only a volunteer activity but also a profound practical lesson on medical ethics, empathy and the comprehensive care role of nurses. Through this, students were trained in professional skills while cultivating a spirit of compassion and social responsibility.

With the training orientation associated with community service, the Faculty of Nursing at Van Lang University constantly creates opportunities for students to develop comprehensively, contributing to nurturing generations of nurses with rich expertise and medical ethics.
