In cooperation with Viet Hai Clinic, on October 13, 2024, Van Lang University’s Faculty of Medical Technology organized a program to examine health, provide free medicine, and give gifts to victims of Agent Orange, people with disabilities, poor households, and families in difficult circumstances in My Huong commune, My Tu district, Soc Trang province.

The delegation included lecturers, staff, alumni, and students of the Faculty of Medical Technology, accompanying the doctors and pharmacists from Viet Hai Clinic. They gave health examinations and offered free treatment to 500 people, most of whom were elderly. Understanding their insights and needs for consultation and healthcare, the delegation members delicately instructed on how to prevent diseases and take care of their health as well as their families. Additionally, the delegation gave 100 gifts to victims of Agent Orange, the disabled, and people in difficult living conditions.

This was also an opportunity for students to learn from experts in the medical field, and simultaneously translate their knowledge and skills into reality, helping in effective health care.
