On 20 September 2023, more than 100 students from Course 27, 28 of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture gathered at the Orientation Day, receiving many important announcements for the new academic year 2023 - 2024.
Orientation day is an opportunity for students from different courses to meet, discuss, and share feedback with the faculty members. The program was attended by the following members, including:
During the start-of-year meeting, Dr Nguyen Thi Hien, Dean of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture, had some advice for the students: “The third year is a crucial time for Course 27 students as they choose majors for their future careers. Meanwhile, Course 28 students are becoming seniors to the juniors of Course 29. I hope all students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture will start the new academic year full of energy, gain more skills and knowledge, and succeed on their academic journey to become good citizens.”
Throughout the orientation, the two courses were informed on the curriculum for the 2023-2024 academic year and guided on building effective study plans and career directions. Besides, the Faculty's Dean also shared regulations, support policies, and volunteer activities.
During direct discussions with the students, lecturers of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture also emphasized the appropriate behaviors between lecturers and students, seniors and juniors. Efficient time management will enable the students to work smartly, have more opportunities to maximize their strengths and develop themselves.
During the past academic year, the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture also established its Youth Union - Association, organizing meaningful programs that foster cultural exchange between the Vietnamese and Korean cultures, leaving memorable moments for the students during their studies.
