A delegation of students from YMCA Vietnam and YMCA Taichung (Taiwan) were granted the chance to visit, exchange, and engage with Van Lang University students on July 6, 2023. The program forms part of the Honors Program's series of cultural exchanges with universities all across the world.
Along with the Standard and International programs, Van Lang University launched an Honors Program with 14 majors in 2018. The curriculum is intended to educate Global Citizens by empowering learners with the knowledge and abilities needed to inquiry, position themselves, and adapt to changing norms in the context of global integration. The Honors Program offers an intensive study atmosphere with one-of-a-kind personal development experience, bringing you closer to being a global citizen.
One of the primary training objectives is to equip students with real-world experience by enabling them to participate in community activities, exchange activities with international schools, expanding the opportunity to learn and understand how the world operates around them.
On July 6, 2023, the student teams from YMCA Vietnam and YMCA Taichung took part in three challenging stages developed by Van Lang students in the Vietnamese - Taiwanese - English language exchange activity. The aim of this task is to supply opportunities for students to interact, develop language skills, and collaborate in group projects. YMCA students may discover more about Vietnamese culture and create more wonderful memories in the S-shaped country by participating in group games and folk games.
The Taiwanese students remained touring the Yakult factory after the study visit program at Van Lang ended. This is a hands-on exercise that helps students acquire the enterprise's production process, obtain new knowledge from observing the company's real operations, and better comprehend the industry trend, grasp the development direction of the chosen field of study.
