Efficient recognition and exploitation of personal and organizational intangible assets

In the present age of digitalization, intangible assets play a significant role in the economic landscape of individuals. To support VLU colleagues in comprehending the essential concepts and principles of this subject matter, the Institute for Computational Science and Artificial Intelligence (COSARI) organized a Workshop on March 26, 2024, centered around the theme of "Efficient recognition and exploitation of personal and organizational intangible assets".

Dr. Nguyen Tran Chan, an expert in Intellectual Property and Intangible Assets from the COSARI at VLU, led the Workshop. Leveraging his practical expertise, Dr. Nguyen Tran Chan provided insights into concepts, classifications, investment strategies, and transformation methods for different types of assets. According to the speaker, having a clear understanding of the intellectual property registration process for intangible assets can fundamentally alter the business mindset of individuals and organizations, enabling them to gain a significant competitive advantage in the market. This underscores the crucial need to apply a curious and creative mindset, and to effectively identify one's intangible assets within an educational setting.

Following the theoretical session, the instructors had the opportunity to apply their knowledge through the enumeration of their current intangible assets and potential intangible assets. In doing so, they collectively analyzed and discussed strategies for effectively harnessing these assets in specific scenarios. The goal of the workshop was for the instructors to recognize and identify their own intangible assets, enabling them to further develop and create a foundation for advancement in both their professional and personal lives.
