Within the framework of this semester's Practical Project 1, students of the K29 cohort majoring in Interior Furniture Design successfully completed the challenge of designing a chair – one of the most important foundational problems for shaping their thinking about form and structure. Beyond just a classroom assignment, the project evaluation session became an inspiring exhibition space, where each chair told a unique story of creativity.
1. A "Familiar" Challenge That's Not Easy
For any interior designer, the chair is always an iconic object. It's so familiar that it's taken for granted in everyday life, but that very familiarity poses a significant professional challenge: How to create something new on a classic structure?

For the K29 students, this assignment wasn't just about creating a chair to sit on. It was a journey to find the perfect balance between Function – sturdiness and ergonomic comfort – and Aesthetics – the graceful flow of lines and emotions.

2. The Journey from Drawing to Reality: The Mark of "Uniqueness & Quality"
The atmosphere in the workshop these past few days has been full of energy. Bringing an idea from initial 2D sketches to a finished product is a serious artistic process.

Each chair tells a unique story. The K29 students skillfully incorporated their personalities into every piece of wood, iron frame, or cushion.
- Some designs celebrate minimalism and sophistication in every detail.
- Others are unconventional and bold with daring shapes.
But they all share one common point: Creativity is limitless and deeply rooted in the unique style of each author.

3. A "Feast" of Shapes and Inspiration at the Project Defense
The judging of Practical Project 1 went far beyond the scope of a typical academic evaluation, becoming a colorful art exhibition.

The expert panel and viewers were surprised by the simultaneous "showcase" of the works. A variety of styles and color palettes transformed the chairs into focal points, affirming the independent thinking and immense potential of these future young designers.
Practical Project 1 has concluded, but the echoes of the creativity and effort of the K29 group remain. This will be a solid stepping stone for them to continue conquering more complex challenges on their path to becoming professional Interior Design professionals.
