Congratulations to the Faculty of Applied Arts on their remarkable achievements in music competitions

In October 2024, Van Lang University received exciting news as Meritorious Artist Vo Thien Lan, a lecturer from the Faculty of Applied Arts, won the Consolation Prize at the "Thanh Am Ha Noi" Song Composition Contest, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital. Additionally, student Tran Thi Hoang Thanh (Thanh Thanh) achieved excellent success by winning the championship title at the "Dream Set Ablaze" Contest - Season 3.

After eight months of competition, surpassing 196 entries from 131 professional and amateur authors across 24 provinces and cities nationwide, "Ky Uc Thu Do" by lecturer Vo Thien Lan was highly regarded by the judges for its quality and artistic value regarding the history of Hanoi. Shining at various art competitions, both teachers and students from the Faculty of Applied Arts have made a significant impression on music lovers with their dedicated and meticulously crafted works and performances.

As a familiar face at talent events and competitions at Van Lang University, Thanh Thanh shared: “The process of learning and testing myself in the university's talent playgrounds has helped me gain a lot of experience in my career. I hope that my fellow students will confidently pursue what they love and are passionate about because that will be the motivation to conquer and reach their dreams.”

Upon reaching the finals, Thanh Thanh expressed that her teachers motivated her to conquer in each round of competition and create the best performances.
